20th December 2024 – Christmas Charity Donations
Our Meriden Audax rides yielded a healthy profit this year, resulting in the club boosting our excess funds. Some of the excess funds are given to members in the form of subsidies; money off club clothing and festive meals for example. The remainder we donate to charities and this year the committee selected three charities who will each receive a donation of £250 from us. They are:
The Air Ambulance Service – Covering the East side of our ride area
Midlands Air Ambulance – Covering the West side of our ride area
World Bicycle Relief – Working in the poorest countries of the world they empower individuals to access education, healthcare and economic opportunities through life-changing bicycles.

16th November 2024 – School Donation
For over a decade Pertemps have kindly allow us free use of their car park for our Meriden Audax riders to park. When we asked Pertemps if, as a sign of our gratitude, we could make a donation to a local cause, they chose the PTA of the Meriden C of E Primary School. Every year we get a letter of thanks from the school, which is much appreciated.
