Warwickshire Wanderer

105Km cycling event starting from Meriden, Warwickshire, controls at:

• Start
• WELLESBOURNE: near ‘The King’s Head’
• BISHOPS ITCHINGTON: Memorial Hall
• MERIDEN
• Plus 2 information controls

Mostly country lanes across the Avon then leafy scenery past Edgehill Civil War site. Then climbs through Burton Dassett Country Park before returning round Leamington Spa. Refreshments available at start/finish. Online entry now closed but you can enter on the day by paying cash.

Cotswold Challenge 

160Km cycling event starting from Meriden, Warwickshire, controls at:

• BISHOPS ITCHINGTON: Memorial Hall
• MERIDEN
• Plus 4 information controls

Mostly country lanes across the Avon then leafy scenery into the Cotswolds with a couple of climbs to Edgehill where the first Civil War battle took place. On to Burton Dassett Country Park before the return leg. Online entry now closed but you can enter on the day by paying cash.
